It's the same rules for most games. You just have to change a few things the new rules are nothing game changing or huge.

I hear you, if Blizzard goes ahead with banning third-party content, then a greater majority of assets on this and other WarCraft III mods sites will no longer be able to be used in making WarCraft III maps. To make matters worse, this will retroactively remove a lot of classic maps like Final Fantasy Epic RPG. On top of that, even for the map makers that are creating something completely original, Blizzard is now claiming rights to whatever anyone makes, probably hoping someone will make the next DOTA just so they can swipe in and cash in on someone else's hard work. I hope that Blizzard will reconsider their policies following the backlash of WarCraft III Reforged's release; because if they don't and actually enforce these policies, significantly less people are going to want to create maps in the future. I hope the modding community can find some way to endure and get through this mess.
